The transportation in Kissimmee, Florida to Disney Parks/Universal Studios?

Question by Jo: The transportation in Kissimmee, Florida to Disney Parks/Universal Studios?
Im going to Florida and staying in Kissimmee, according to the map the hotel is 12 miles to the parks. I’m not planning to hire a car over there so would like to know what public transportation is available to get to and from the parks.
Thanks

Most of the hotels in Kissimmee and the surrounding area provide transportation to and from the parks (Disney especially). I would either call and ask or look online to see if the hotel offers transportation to the theme parks.

If they don’t offer transportation, I would think you could hire a taxi or take one of the Lynx buses. I have provided the bus route list below:

You may want to change your plans. Your hotel *might* provide free transportation, but if it does, I can almost guarantee you that you won’t be happy with it. Free transport from all hotels other than Disney is lousy. I always recommend that if you won’t have your own car, you should definitely stay on property at Disney or Universal. Stay wherever you will spend the most time, then take a shuttle/cab to the other park, or stay at one for a few days and move to the other. You won’t be pleased without your own car if you are staying off-property.

If your hotel doesn’t provide free transportation, you may have no options besides a cab, which will add up fast.
